“I thought I was in good shape until I tried my first CrossFit workout. CrossFit will change your idea of what it means to be fit and it will show you the path to doing things you never imagined you could do."

Dan Urban
I've been rock climbing for about nine years now, and crossfitting forthree. I first became interested when I saw a flyer on the Sunnyvale wall saying that Rob Miller, a well known big wall free climber, would be starting classes at the gym. I'd never heard of the program, but many of the climbs I'd held as goals were ones that Rob had done, so I figured that whatever he was doing was worth a shot! I've been thrilled with the way crossfit can complement climbing and gaining fitness in areas I never had before, and I'm psyched on sharing these workouts with an awesome community of climbers and crossfitters at Sunnyvale. I spend entirely too much time at the gym, but when not there I hope to be found climbing outside, often in Yosemite, Tahoe, and Sonora.
