WOD

Complete the following for time:
2 rounds
30 Overhead walking lunge steps holding plate (35/45#plate)
15 Ring dips
2 rounds
30 box jumps (as big as you can)
15 Toes to bar

Strength Focus 

Squat 3×5 (add 5# to last workout)

Press 3×5 (add 2-5# to last workout)


Pull ups 3 sets for max reps
(Strict, no kip.  Add weight if you are getting more than 10 reps/set)

    16:54 Rx’d with 45# plate done at the home gym as I can’t make class tonight (It’s my wedding anniversary). I used the big box but many of the jumps were step-ups.

    This one was curious in that it looked harder than it actually was.

    15:10 with 35# plate (after 3 weeks off, had to ease on into it)
    Legs will be sore tomorrow.

    superman pushups x 10
    GHR x 8
    kb press 50# x 10

    Did the Newport Crippler last week (30 body weight back squats, run 1mi) in 12:45, today was similar with 30 OHS @ 115#, run 1mi 10:19. I like my new weights :)

    On Saturday got 50 consecutive double unders. That WOD was 50 DU, 25 shoulder press @95#, 50 DU 25 PP @95#, 50 DU 25 Jerk @95#. Bar was cleaned from the ground with a squat clean if it was dropped.

    Having the right equipment helps so much!
