This would’ve been a much better WOD than the one we ended up with! Unfortunately, I went with Martin’s choice; my stomach disapproves.

    AMRAP in 20 minutes:
    9/15/21 thrusters, KBS, situps
    95#/50#/abmat

    Rxd: 3rd, 9 thrusters

Definitely wasn’t feeling this one. Nice to revisit thrusters again though!

4 rounds + thrusters, feeling like crap now.

    5 rounds

70# dumbell (easier on the wrist)
    50# KB
    Abmat situps

This was a pretty punishing workout indeed. The thrusters were much easier for me with the DBs instead of the barbell.

probably should have been a rest day today. started feeling worn out during my warmup!

    8 rounds as rx’d

Yeah, wow, only 8 rounds… definitely sounds like you needed a rest :)

[takes his 3.4 rounds and slinks away]

Smagee, what is the difference between Martin’s WOD and Dan’s?

    Dan’s WOD was:

    Work to a 3RM DeadLift.

    6 rounds. Rx’d + heavy thrusters (100#)

Still hurting a little from the Woodside 50K on Saturday, but this was a good one to get the muscles reengaged.
